The typical atmosphere and traditional flavors of Adega Nova are a real awakening of the senses. The aromas, the flavors, the colors of the ingredients and the gastronomic environment that you breathe are the hosts in this space in the center of Faro. The traditional menu is quite varied throughout the year, making Adega a temple of traditional Portuguese cuisine. The gastronomic art in its delicacies and the efficient service of the staff make this house a reference in the gastronomic itinerary of the Algarve.

Adega Nova was born in the center of Faro in an old warehouse of tiles and bricks. In this place, the inhabitants of Faro say that there was a chapel, a place of religious worship and pilgrimage. In 1986, in this area with a certain mysticism in the capital of the Algarve, this restaurant was inaugurated, the flag of the tasty and varied gastronomy of Portugal. In order to offer better conditions to our visitors, in 2000 we started a remodeling that ended in 2005, without closing doors and with a lot of dedication. This transformation, idealized and carried out by Carlos Graça, made this gastronomic space a unique space in Portugal. A cozy atmosphere rich in details, on two floors covered with stories with a mix of rustic and contemporary, highlights the culinary art tradition of this restaurant.
