In a typical Minhota house, in a small village of Póvoa de Lanhoso, there is a traditional food restaurant that enchants anyone who passes through the authentic flavors that it puts on the table.
Victor can be a restaurant lost in the middle of a rural area right in the heart of Minho, but already has a captive place among the establishments of reference when talking about gastronomy of the North of Portugal. The space started out as a tavern, but when, in 1971, Victor Peixoto reached the age of 30, and after 20 to work there, he asked his father, a former owner, to create a restaurant there. Despite the change that has been going on for more than four decades, tradition is still present in this house, both through the typical delicious food and through the great sympathy felt in the place.
The great specialty of Victor is undoubtedly the roasted cod with batter potatoes
