Preparation

Cook the red beans in boiling water until tender, then put the beans and their broth in a blender and whisk until smooth. Reserve.

In a pan fry the bacon, then the garlic in the fat that you release from the bacon. Add the beans, season with salt to taste and mix everything.

Decorate the beans from Minas Gerais with parsley and chives and it's ready to serve!

  • 4 cups of cooked red beans (with broth)
  • 2 tablespoons of garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons of bacon fat
  • ½ cup diced bacon
  • 1 pinch of salt to taste
  • Parsley to taste
  • Chives to taste
