Preparation

Cut the fish flaked and clean into wheels. Wrap it in the flour and fry them in hot oil. After frying the fish, lightly fry the onions cut into wheels and the peppers cut into strips in the same oil.
Put the fried fish, onions, peppers, olives, salt, pepper, and paprika in an earthenware or clay container with a lid. Cover everything with equal parts oil and vinegar. Leave it in brine for at least 7 days.

  • 3 pounds of saw, needle, bib, bonito, etc.
  • 1 cup of wheat flour
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 2 onions
  • 2 chili peppers
  • ½ cup olives, capers, onions, cucumber, or other pickle
  • 1 tbsp. of salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp. paprika
  • oil and vinegar, in equal parts until covered
