Obs. If you want to make it as a dessert, cut the fig in half and the nuts.

This candy is common in Lebanon to be used for Christmas, with the essence of roses.

Ingredients

  • 1 kilo of dried (sweet) fig cut in 4
  • 500 grams of walnuts
  • 1 kilo of sugar
  • 2 glasses of water
