Preparation

Open the eggs in a soup plate. Beat with a fork and mix with herbs and season to taste.
Place the slices one by one and let them "suck" in the egg mixture.
Assemble the sandwiches with a slice of bread, a slice of ham, a slice of cheese and close with another slice of bread.
Fry the slices in a pan with hot butter.
Tip: use all the remaining egg mixture over the slices and fry well on both sides.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cooked ham
  • 2 slices of cheese (silver, mozzarella, gouda,… whatever you have)
  • 3 eggs
  • Dried herbs to taste
  • Salt and fresh black pepper to taste
  • 60 grams of butter (for frying)
