Preparation

Bring the butter to an electric mixer and beat until very white. Add powdered sugar and beat more. Place the egg yolks and beat the mixture again. Remove from mixer and add powdered cloves, brandy and chopped almonds. Gradually pour the flour until it forms a not too hard dough. Make balls with the dough and press the middle with your thumb to shape the cookies. Take to the oven to bake and take the cookies when they are baked, but before browning. Prepare a mixture of powdered sugar and vanilla powder and sift over the cookies.
