Preparation

Start by placing the water and sugar in a saucepan. Let it cook until when you pass the spoon in the bottom of the pan, you can see the bottom. Allow the mixture to cool.

In another pan, place the beaten egg yolks and cook over low heat. Then gradually add the sugar mixture and stir constantly.

When the mixture thickens, remove from heat.
