Preparation

wash the mussels well and put them to boil in a pot with water that covers them, cook until they open, remove the mussels from their shells and clean them.

fry the onion with the garlic, add the ground chili pepper, cook and pour in the white wine. add the mussels, with half the shells, cook over low heat for five minutes, until the alcohol in the wine evaporates.

add the chopped tomato and tomato sauce, cook for ten more minutes. season with salt and pepper, flavor with chopped parsley. serve hot and accompany with toasted bread.
