When we hear about cod pataniscas, we start salivating, as this Portuguese delicacy is one of the most appreciated.

To make them, we beat the eggs, add the flour, and little by little, add the sparkling water, while stirring, so that they don't get lumps.

Add onion, garlic and chopped parsley.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

The shredded cod is added and mixed well.

Fry small portions of this preparation in hot oil and let it rest on absorbent paper.

Serve hot or cold and have a good appetite!

  • 2 cloves of garlic (chopped)
  • 2 pieces of cod (cooked and shredded)
  • Half chopped onion
  • 1 250 ml bottle of sparkling water
  • Chopped parsley)
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper
