Preparation

bring the milk to a boil with two tablespoons of sugar and the lemon peel.
beat the eggs very well, so that the white is imperceptible.
cut the bread into slices of about 1.5 cm and pass it first through the milk and then through the eggs. fry in very hot oil and drain on absorbent paper or cloth.
serve sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon or with sugar syrup.
