Preparation

wash the apples and with the proper utensil remove the core of the apples keeping them whole.
with a knife give a superficial blow all around.
put the apples in a pyrex.
divide the amount of sugar and port wine by the cavity of the apples. if you want you can also put a cinnamon stick inside the cavity.
cover the pyrex with aluminum foil and bake in a hot oven for about 10 minutes.
serve hot or cold.
