Preparation

(for 8 - 10 people)
blend the coconut with its water. pass through a strainer and squeeze well. reserve the milk obtained and the blended coconut. repeat the previous preparation with normal water with normal, warm water, until you obtain four cups of coconut milk. Reserve.

Separately, in a pot on the fire, add the first milk, let it dry until the oil and the coconut browns are obtained. add the second milk, the sugar, the salt and bring to a boil.

mix with the previously washed rice and shrimp. Let dry and continue cooking over low heat, covered, until the rice is ready.
