Preparation

Caramelize a pan with the sugar in the mouth of the stove and spread it all over the pan.
Pour the coconut milk in a pan and over low heat, add the agar agar to the still cold milk, and stir continuously, until the mixture boils for 3 minutes.
Wait for the mixture to warm, then add the condensed milk and vanilla extract and blend in a blender, until you get a homogeneous consistency. Place in the pan with the already caramelized sugar and take it to the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup demerara or brown sugar
  • 350 ml of coconut milk
  • 1 coffee spoon of agar agar
  • 1 coconut condensed milk or 200 ml of the vegetable condensed milk of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
